Conflict management in Israeli society

A sophomore year project for strengthening the awareness among teens on proper ways to resolve conflicts and disputes. The mission of this project is to enhance the importance of not resolving a dispute through violence, but through listening, and strengthening mutual components between the two sides. By understanding the legitimacy of a dispute, teens would be supplied with tools on how to avoid hatred, separation, and violence. During the school year of 2016-2017, a pilot of this project took place with the participation of nine high schools in Israel. The success of the project was made public at the President’s House when the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, launched the enterprise.  This project is made possible by Yitzhak Rabin Center, Katif Center, and Shira Banki’s Way.
